**************** MOST IMPORTANT! ****************	1. 2.	Recycle whatever you can - it's easy. Save energy - turn off everything that isn't being used, it will save you money!
Saving Energy	• • •	We turn off all office equipment at the end of the day, and also if it isn't being used during the day. We use low energy globes and environmentally friendly fluoro globes throughout the premises. No lights are left on overnight apart from security lights.
Saving Water	• • •	Minimal water is used here - only toilet, basin and drinking water. We have a minimal flush policy. The hot water service is turned off as we don't need hot water. A plumber was recently called out to our premises to fix all leaking taps etc.
Reducing waste	• • • • •	All scrap paper is recycled. Bins are located throughout the office for staff to use. This is then fortnightly taken home by staff members to put in their curbside recycling bins. We have a large cardboard recycle bin that gets picked up regulary by Cleanaway. Quotes are e-mailed whenever possible to reduce paper waste. We get our printer and fax ink cartridges re-filled by Cartridge World. We don't have a sink in our tea room and we've found it very difficult to get cups washed. While going through the application to be profiled on GreenYourBusiness, however, we realised there was a sink in a nearby unused room that we hadn't noticed before. Now we can get rid of all disposable cups and still have clean mugs!
Reusing Resources	• •	We use the back of scrap paper for rough notes etc. before recycling it. We've found it difficult to source recycled printer paper from our usual stationery supplier. We're now getting them to order it in for us.
Policies & Programs	•	Staff involvement is crucial. All staff are informed about each process we implement and very happily take them on board. This made completing the 15 Day Challenge much easier!
