If you're a business that uses a lot of water it's very important to turn off taps when you're not directly using the water, and to replace washers regularly.

Low energy globes are a huge saving on electricity bills!

Turning off appliances at the power point when not in use really does save energy.

Saving Energy

We turn off appliances like hair straighteners and beauty equipment when not directly in use.
We use low energy globes for our salon lighting.
We only turn on lights that are needed and use natural lighting (e.g. in beauty room) wherever possible.
The building we are in is well insulated, saving on heating and cooling costs.

Saving Water

Taps are turned off when the water is not on the client's head.
Tap washers are replaced regulary to make sure there are no drips.
Reducing waste
We offer tea, coffee or water to clients, and we always use mugs or glasses, not disposable cups.
Reusing Resources
When we run out of printer ink we get cartridges refilled  and recycle old ones.
Policies & Programs
It's a salon policy to only purchase low energy globes and recycled toner cartridges.
